Sorry Anon at 17.40 but they are still at it. I'm still waiting to hear from Haven's complaints department about a case in which they have written direct to my Client twice with pre-med offers. My complaint to the FCA about it didn't achieve anything. The FCA aren't bothered citing that the Portal Behavioural Guidance I referred them to is only advisory.
So we are left with the position that the Portal only has advisory guidance and the Insurers' regulator is not concerned about the practice.
