I am surprised by some of the outrage expressed here that claimant solicitors should actually get paid for acting for their clients with the implication that contacting clients directly is somehow honourable in protecting them from paying the solicitor they have engaged to pursue their claims.
I hope that those commenting are going to offer me a nil rate for my motor insurance premium when it is up for renewal as if I can't be paid for representing my clients, surely I shouldn't have to pay to insure my car?
