I’ve just looked at a potential new claim. Lost tooth - M&S settled direct through Hill Dickinson for £1k plus they paid the initial treatment costs. Some kind of form was signed.

So client is £1.5k down already, then factor in future treatment every few years and she could be £7k or so down on a. reasonable settlement.

I know this sort of thing won’t be caught by the changes but even so it indicates how claimants will get shafted.
