Many many years ago at the start of my career - a female partner who worked part time took a dislike to me as I wished her well for her game of golf for that afternoon. The remaining three half days of the week when she was in the office was spent literally screaming at me for various errors real or otherwise simply because I had the audacity to comment on her golf. The partner who I worked with at the time did absolutely nothing to control her unbelievable behaviour - I did not dare say anything as too scared to lose my position - today I think not only would I have screamed back but would have threatened to slap her if she did not behave properly. Mental Health as always been with us but today one would hope that if signs are shown then we as practitioners, partners, HR staff etc are sufficiently aware that if people are showing signs of unreasonable behaviour (onset of Mental Issues) it is dealt with promptly and appropriately - I have never forgotten that female partner nor the partner who did nothing under the circumstances
