These were US NDAs, and I have had the great good fortune to review some of these myself in the past. Modern English drafting style is light years away from US legal drafting. Little of it is plain, and some of it doubtful if it is English. However, it tends to follow a recognisable pattern (as much legal drafting does) and that, with the likelihood the clauses selected will be drafted in similar style, possibly with particular buzzwords, will make it relatively easy for AI to identify the relevant clauses. One would like to know more about the 30 issues selected, and what was the annotation made - 'warning on this clause'? Or something more particular, possibly referencing other related clauses?

Note the algorithm "had been trained with tens of thousands of NDAs." I wonder if they tried putting in a 'wake-up' clause?
