What it demonstrates is the cynical use of court/tribunal fees to deprive the ordinary citizen of the right to enforce their rights which is (probably?) the opposite of what a government should be doing.

What is missing is the unravelling of all of the steps taken by Government to prevent the ordinary citizen from being able to seek assistance from the courts when their civil rights have been trampled. Unfortunately that would mean Government giving value to people's rights and revisiting the civil court fee structure as well as understanding the disaster that we all know that LASPO was/is.

Government failings (probably?) made us as poor as we have become but Government cannot explain why the little people who had nothing to do with the financial disaster have to carry the cost of trying to put it right.
