I think there is (or should be) significant public interest in these cases. Remaining in the prison system are about 3,000 individuals (some possibly very dangerous predators) who instead of receiving whole life tariffs were given indeterminate sentences (later found to be bad law). I think the Judge in Worboy's case commented he was a dangerous predator. If he's released, let's hope is gotten over it!

The legislators (David Blunkett's era) got it wrong, the parole board and judges are left to try and unravel this mess.
