But even if the work is carried out by a "recent graduate in history or mathematics, is a trainee solicitor or has 25 years PQE" it still doesn't mean the work requires a great skill set hence why its generally not carried out by any of the above, and again this is based on knowledge dealing with how these firms work as most end up being insurance panel solicitors or handlers end up working for insurers.
In regards to your last paragraph I no longer deal with low value RTA claims after 7 years but I still work for the same insurance company so I think I should be ok come April 2019, failing that I will receive a very decent redundancy package
