I was still doing residential conveyancing when HIPs appeared. I remember on one transaction that the seller's solicitor, despite many phone calls about perceived delay from others, 'stuck to his guns' and only sent me a completed pack when he had gathered all of the information on a leasehold property. You know what? It was great. I had everything 'to the letter'. Then they went and dumped them!
