Mr McNally. Are you the man who sold Anon 13:10 his ashtray? Whilst indemnity insurance has it's place, and can solve some minor problems, it cannot be the panacea for conveyancing as a whole to cover other people's due diligence. Not all 'due diligence' is very diligent. I have acted on many sales where the previous solicitor has completely messed up with the result that houses had no drainage, no access, no parking rights, covenants against building houses etc.
