In the black letter sense, I’m sure this judgment is perfectly sound. I have no doubt Warby J correctly and reasonably applied the authorities that were binding on him (most particularly, Google Spain.)

Normatively however, this decision is absurd. Once information has lawfully entered the public arena, individuals should have no right to censor access to it.

As soon as it is lawfully able to, the government should take steps to reverse this nonsense and make clear that Google Spain is no longer a part of our law.
