I was as hard as nails in my early days, and once prosecuted a court all day suffering from food poisoning and barely able to stand. Every time the magistrates retired, I rushed out to vomit.

However, the years took their toll, and by my mid fifties, I was constantly on the verge of a total breakdown. I was lucky enough to be approached by a larger firm who wanted to take me over, and allow me to retire. Had that not happened, I would not be alive today.
