I'm not sure that this is going to work. In many firms someone could be sitting on a piece of toast claiming to be a poached egg, and as long as they were hitting their costs target, no one would be bothered.

As for having a "first aider" I can't see how some low level employee (and it's bound to be delegated right down the line) can identify, let alone deal with, mental health issues before someone jumps out of a window.
