They provided a service and got paid. Isn't that what they rest of the moaning lawyers on here do. They had an agreement with Carillion as to the retainer and Carillion weren't some guy off the street who did not understand what they were agreeing to pay.

I'm sure all the others on here who are complaining would be quick to get their fees paid if they knew there was a chance they would get nothing if they waited. As for the level of fees, I would so presumptuous as to say they are excessive etc. when I do not know exactly what they are for. In our line of work assumptions really do make an ass of you and me.
