Let's break this down. 1. The compensation culture does exist, this is obvious to anyone with any hint of knowledge about the increase in claim volumes for minor nuisance injuries in the last 10-15 years, and is highlighted by comparison with other European countries. 2. If the SCT limit properly took into account inflation it would be far higher than the proposed level. 3. Claiming it take 18 months to recovery from a minor injury is fraud. Exaggerating the effect of injuries is fraud. Saying you couldn't enjoy your holiday when you've been scuba diving is fraud. Saying you've lost earnings when you were paid for the one day you took off to go to see the 'expert' is fraud. 4. No one doubts there are genuine injuries caused by minor accidents. But people shouldn't be compensated for their hypochondria. 5. Genuine injuries which have had a real and not imagined effect will still be compensated. 6. Medco is a joke 7. Some so-called medical experts should be struck off. 8. This is happening, like it or not. All parties need to prepare.
