Be reassured whether you are Defendant or Claimant, these reforms mean significant job losses be it paralegals pushing buttons or insurance staff or many other businesses reliant on these claims. As a result can we please tone down the rhetoric a tad and focus on the issues. Whatever happens with this act should it not be based on provable evidence not anecdotes. If this committee haven't been provided with evidence then regardless of your view, should it not be put back until such time as hard figures have been provided and considered.

Most of the problems with PI have been generated by ill thought through ideas which inevitably create other problems. This seems yet another one of those and anyone who thinks shifting matters to CMC's (Didn't Keen suggest this) is going to help....
