What a wonderful idea! What could possibly go wrong? Now we can have the SRA catastrophically cocking up in good faith just as carefully and systematically as did the GMC in Dr DB v GMC... now where did I store my popcorn?

Seriously(?), though, the SRA's case load is up? Must mean there are more complaints. Which means that they must be justified complaints, because complainants never lie. So let's just drop the standard so that the SRA can secure more convictions at random, shall we?

(Don't worry about the CPS immediately getting swarms of its employees struck off for systemic contempt of court or, sadly, worse. They've already thought of that: hence the "associate crown prosecutor" status. )
