Can't really agree with you there. We did not enable the bar to take action. If we had taken the same action as the bar and refused all cases with Rep Orders post 1st December, the both solicitors and barristers would have been on strike from December. Us because we chose to and barristers because we would have had no new work to brief them on.

We didn't do it. We didn't even do it for Rep Orders after 1st April. Had we done so, even from 1st April then we would have avoided all the problems with solicitors being ordered to go to Court and the govenment would be having to negotate with both branches.

We can hardly say to the bar, don't accept the offer on AGF when we have accepted the cut rate to LGF. Even if they did, we don't have a negotating position as we have already accepted the cut rate.

The Bar is still refusing 1st April Rep Orders. We are still taking them.
