The Bar Council "Complaints" system is more like a WHITEWASH system. It just cannot be seen to be independent and despite all the nice empty words of the Bar Council it is clear that they want to keep the Whitewash system. I recall a 26 year serving Police Officer heard a Barrister suggesting to a Police Officer that he lie & mislead the Court. He wrote a statement at the time ,and I also heard the barrister , and filed that with the Bar Council . They said they did not believe him. What a pile of C R A P the Bar Council really is. They don't want 21st Century open and transparent complaints, they still want 19th century whitewashes.
