So if a new client to be walks into my office to seek advice and I am already in conference with a client and the conference is expected to take another half an hour and my secretary tells the client to be that I am in conference but should be free in about half an hour but after half an hour I am still in conference and am likely to be another half an hour or more and the client to be walks out of my office but gets run over by a speeding car and killed his next of kin or whatever can sue me because if I had not been engaged in conference I would have seen the client to be and he would not have been where he was so he would not have been run over and so he would not have been killed. Isn't there something called "connection" which is required before liability can be established?
