I can't see the problem: there's obviously no conflict of interest in the Home Office 'helping' people reverse the appalling decisions made by, um... the Home Office. Not at all like a Judge hearing an appeal of his/her own judgment...
According to the government, Legal Aid is available to those who need it most; which tells the Windrush victims exactly how important they are are in the overall scheme of things.
