I doubt if the LCJ has much experience of interpreters. I have. In the many years that I sat as an immigration judge interpreters were a regular and frequent feature of judicial It is a very important and difficult task but I feel that the LCJ simply does not have the slightest understanding of what interpreters do , or the difficulties they face, in the real world.
