Cache and CUE are not really "readily available" unless you are an insurer - claimants only get very limited access to CUE via the CUEPI system.

My point regarding the accuracy of the databases below stands - if you believe there is incorrect data on the database correcting that data is going to be virtually impossible - not least of all because it is always open to the insurers to argue that the data is correct and the reason you want it changing is because you are trying to cover-up/commit fraud.

As to the "yet the majority of the discussion is about the ethics of the IFB and databases they may or may not have. " point. What is to be said? Fraudsters were convicted of fraud. Good. Our erstwhile "Scruff" asked a question about the IFB which was frankly more interesting - I didn't realise we were required to stay 100% on topic.

Also at the point of you writing your comment you were factually wrong - 18 comments with 6 (arguably 7) about the IFB and really only 2 or 3 actually about the ethics. Clearly someone can't count. This is why we are so respected as a profession. Bravo.
