I was waiting at traffic lights when an old London taxi drew up beside my bus, opened his door to stop me driving. The driver, a middle easterner shouted that I had damaged his cab. The rear bumper was hanging off, either he had caught it on the back of the bus or it was rigged to fall off. I reported the incident to my insurers who, later told that this man had made 9 previous claims of similar nature, in other words he was a regular cash for crash criminal. I later discovered that my insurers paid him 3500 pounds, I was shocked. Why are insurance companies paying out on such an obvious crime? The world has gone mad!
