Oh good, another survey telling us that the big firms are leading the way by being marginally less dominated by the white male public school intake than the year before, while the rest of the smaller firms who actually have a healthy mix of backgrounds get ignored.

Perhaps for once the law society could recognise the smaller firms for whom hiring someone from an ethnic, poorer or female background isn’t an achievement or a badge but is simply a feature in the employment of genuinely talented people.
