I think that the point s being missed by a number of contributors here. The point is not what should be reported, the point is that nobody wants to involve the SRA in something unless there is absolutely no alternative. It's like loosing the bull in the proverbial china shop. The SRA simply cannot be trusted to act with integrity, discretion or professionalism. They like easy targets and if they decide to investigate you it may cost you your business. I know people who have been tormented to the point of mental breakdown by these zealots. I recall laughing many years ago on an article about why firms in financial difficulty did not approach the SRA for help. One wag opined that it was akin to a drowning man asking for help and the SRA throwing him his wife and children! Many a true word said in jest.......involve the SRA in anything unless absolutely necessary.......no chance!
