Well done Bindmans and Dinah Rose QC (again). No wonder HMG hates Judicial Review and wants to reduce the ability to make a claim. Has the MOJ ever won a JR with regards to legal aid funding? Following this latest kick-in perhaps it is time for them to get some new lawyers or perhaps time to listen to those lawyers and the rest of the country who keep telling them they are so wrong. Honestly the judgment could not be more scathing. It is embarrassing to think they even came up with those arguments. Up next and ripe for Bindmans/Rose QC - The 14 hour rule is blatantly discriminatory towards part-time staff who are predominantly women and runs contrary to everything the Equality Act has to offer.
