It is indeed worrying that solicitors cannot criticise the evils of religion and identify themselves as solicitors. I'm cannot see that this lady has done much more than that.

Her contempt for religion has not been motivated by racism or other hatred, and she has not called for the beheading of those of any particular religion. So what exactly is the problem with what she has said?

I can tell you that I would always make my secularist comments completely anonymously, precisely because there are far too many reactionary lunatics of certain faiths who would wish fire and brimstone, and a lot more besides, on anyone hurting the feelings of their bearded guy in the sky!

I bet many of them will be calling for the deletion of this post because of the above comment, because they are so devoid of a sense of humour.
