For all those lamenting the apparent abolition of free speech, can I suggest that it is perhaps the way this lady went about it that caused the problem, rather than the fact that she dared speak out against religion. For example, stating that we must "rid the world of Islam" is pretty horrific. How about a more tempered approach in terms of "weeding out extremists"? We're solicitors. Wordsmiths. Going on a hate-filled rant isn't what we're about; we're better than that. We present logical and reasoned arguments.

And for the record, I'm a 40-something, white, female, agnostic, Tory, so definitely not a snowflake.
