Anon 13.46 - It's a fair point, and I really struggle to defend anyone giving money to the Tories, but - and I recognise this is whataboutery - have you checked the links between several well solicitors and the Labour party (you'll find they provide a lot of services to union members *cough*). In other words all large firms lobby and grease the hands of politicians. But parliament ultimately makes laws
