Whilst I'm no apologist for the behaviour of the BBC, we'll be living in a funny old world if privacy law serves to gag the broadcast/printed media when gossip/social media spreads the same story so fast and so far that it is well entrenched in the public domain in next to no time. The story that dare not speak its name?
