If low value RTA claims are "simple" why did my team spend 20 mins studying google streetview yesterday to try and determine where liability lay in a roundabout collision?
Why do we have a rear - end shunt proceeding to trial next week?
Why do we have a defendant solicitor with 25 years experience dealing with a case my firm's trainee solicitor is handling?
We were assured that when fixed costs were introduced these sorts of practices would go away as it would be more economic for insurers to settle these cases. They haven't gone away now, the government is deluded if they think they will go away when litigants in person are running these claims.
