Anon @ 08.02 - Driving is clearly seen as a right, not a privilege. This is obviously despite the need for a license to do it in the first place.

As for the SDT decision, personally I feel (strongly) that five drink driving offences, 3 in such a short period, do far more to adversely affect the profession than e.g. holding someone responsible for a minor accounts error made by an employee.
