This is absolutely chilling.

The SRA Intervened (presumably on grounds of suspected dishonesty), no doubt then brought its 'strongest' case to the SDT, yet the poor bloke has been acquitted of all the serious charges and given fine for 'normal' misconduct.

Therefore a wholly unecessary Intervention, probbaly several jobs lost, and Mr Beach no doubt also has the pleasure of paying the SRA's extortionate Intervention Costs.

Yet the large firms, acting for foreign Oligarchs and corrupt governments, are complicit in the moving around of £Billions of dodgy funds through their client account each year, with nary a peep from our regulator.

And in having a claim for costs smashed down from £50k to £2ok surely the SRA/its lawyers are themselves guilty of unprofessional conduct for grossly over-claiming costs..?
