If the NHS is insufficiently funded, that's not a consequence of the victims of medical negligence having their legal costs of pursuing their claims paid by it. It's because the British people don't want to pay the level of taxation necessary to provide the standard of medical treatment they want and the Government hasn't the moral courage to impose that upon them. As ever, the British people want something but want someone else to pay for it!
