It is true that despite the glossy websites of today consumers actually often learn less about the fee earners dealing with their work than thirty years ago when it was normal to provide on letter-heading at least some indication of educational background and how long lawyers had been in practice. Corporate branding and meaningless logos can disguise varying degrees of inefficiency.
