I’m male and only in my early 30’s and have on two occasions seen behaviour towards women from male colleagues that I would never even consider or deem appropriate. Their idea of flirting I deemed as groping and when I challenged them one challenge was met with “It’s just a bit of fun” and the other was “She didn’t seem to mind” (although she did promptly walk off as soon as I interrupted what he was doing). Needless to say, I became an outcast for “not having a sense of humour” or knowing “how to have a good time”.
From just witnessing two events I remain infuriated. For women that have experienced it at all or are repeatedly victim to it, I can’t imagine how they must feel. But it is also for other men to challenge when the see it.
