You mean access to justice as how you interpret it currently.

Why assume that 'justice' has to come in the form of thousands for soft tissue injuries. Why assume it should come in the form of paying, often excessive and disproportionate, costs.

Why can't justice come in the form of a scale value for injury or even just medical treatment/rehab costs and any loss of earnings. Like it does in numerous other countries?

I tell you why - profit costs and the 'industry'. That's all. Give it a few years and 'justice' for soft tissue injuries will be the same for everyone, a just and level playing field and accepted happily by everyone as being the norm (other than those that no longer get rich from 'justice').

The public really aren't up in arms about this. They don't see justice as the right for lawyers to make loads of money off the back of their injuries. Do you know what reputation pi lawyers have out in the public?!
