' If the case finishes in the afternoon, the order must be lodged by 10am the next day'

So when the case finishes in the afternoon and, by the time the draft of the order has been agreed between the parties, the judge has left the building, the parties may have to hunker down until the next day. I can just see the letter to the client commencing with: 'Your case is listed for .....' and concluding with '..... and don't forget to bring your sleeping bag as you may have to spend the night at court'!
