Not a day passes without more news evidencing this despised, clueless and wasteful organisation. Any story concerning the SRA or its Kangaroo Court is met with a tsunami of angry professionals who, like me, find it hard to believe that people like this can be placed in a position of authority or influence. They feed on those less, financially, able to defend themselves and when they take on a lively Defendant they overspend outrageously ( Leigh Day) and refuse to confirm the figures involved. My own strong view is that the SRA is unfit for purpose and should be disbanded forthwith allowing former members of the profession to assist in the regulation of a profession they understand and care for. I would not trust the SRA to go to Tesco for a loaf and I'll bet a nest of rats I'm not alone!
