Looking at those documents, none of them seems to consider the impact of any alteration of the standard of proof.

How can the LSB rely upon the SDT's projections when the SDT has not yet made a decision about whether to revise the standard of proof? A reduction in the standard would surely be likely to result in more prosecutions, which would in turn require greater SDT resources, which would in turn require more funding.

Why hasn't the LSB asked the SDT to clarify when it is going to make a decision about the standard of proof and how changing that standard might affect the SDT's budget projections?
