First of all, don't ahve a go at anyone because of where they went to school. It wasn't their choice. Ask where their chldren went to school, then we'll find the hypocrites, won't we, Diane Abbott?

But more widely: if the parents who apply to these schools are themselves highly educated and articulate people who value education their pupils will have an advantage which it would be absurd to expect universities or employers or anybody else to ignore.
