Whilst I appreciate that she was addressing the Bar Conference, one might have hoped that she would say legal professional training should be taken back into the control of legal professional bodies. Or is she of the opinion that it's fine for solicitors' profesional training to be outsourced to the private sector? But on reflection, perhaps she thinks that, unlike the Inns of Court, the Law Society just isn't up to the job?
