Re the comment about walking through a dangerous part of town ...

First, I am 100 percent behind Mr Lewis. He should be able to reply to trolls as he did.

However one of the basic rules of physical self defence is you don't put yourself in danger in the first place. So if I want to walk through a dangerous part of town at night, then I must accept that I am doing something stupid and risky by doing so. The world is a dangerous place, and we shouldn't do stupid things. Walking through dangerous part of town alone is not a smart thing to do. That's not victim blaming; it's just common sense. Eliminate the danger first.

If I'm in the ocean and there is a shark warning, it might be a good idea to go to a different beach unless I'm willing to accept to risk of being attacked.
