There are two particular vegans I know who chose to become so in adulthood, but for very different reasons;

One has a seemingly genuine heart-felt love of animals and doesn’t want to be part of their suffering where possible, and peacefully partakes in demonstrations against animal cruelty and testing.

The other is a bit of a conspiracy theorist, and believes governments put chemicals in meats to “do things” to one’s brain.

If the gentlemen in this case is more the former than the latter, then I respect his decision and efforts to stick to it. If he’s more the latter, lay off the whacky backy, eh?
