I believe that until there is a proper measure for establishing an accurate GPG, the reporting of it needs to be more careful lest people get fed up with it and stop listening.

A close friend runs a business (non-legal) of just under 30 people. Until two months ago, his GPG in 2% in favour of women, but as soon as he includes himself and his very recently employed niece, who holds an admin/post job, then it becomes 17.5% in favour of men.
