The flaw with your analysis, Anonymous @ 11:08, is that elections are every five years, not every five minutes.

When an election happens, the winning party is given a reasonable period of time to put their manifesto into action.

As 11:37 said, you don’t get to have another referendum before the result of the first one has even been implemented.

Doing so isn’t democracy. It’s merely a desperate attempt to rerun the vote to overturn a result you don’t like.
