There has been no change in circumstance at all. It was argued at the time that leaving would harm the economy. Remember, in particular, George Osborne’s ‘punishment budget’ and his claims that a mere leave vote itself would crash the economy.

The British people knew there were risks, but they chose to accept those risks.

You just want to ask them again because you don’t like the result and you want to change it.

That is an affront to democracy and it is not happening.
