Even from the limited disclosure released last week, it is clear that the answer is yes. Yes the SRA has been lobbying at least one government department that has nothing to do with regulation of the profession in pursuit of its agenda.

It was even refusing to disclose that material, expressly stating that it would discourage policy discussions between it and government departments (plural).
