As a former licensed black Cab driver(still have my badge) now C.O.F.A. since its inception, it is embarrassing that the commercial world of kicking a can down the road is allowed.
It is cheaper for Uber to spend tens of thousands on legal fees, than millions on PAYE,National Insurance and holiday pay etc..
Most of us are aware of Uber's business model,the courts have confirmed they need to act correctly, yet they continue several years later to avoid the judgement.
Please get a Black Cab where possible,they are Authorized and Regulated just like we are and suffering the two tier system like us(The company I work for loses out to Conveyancers who follow much more lenient and cheaper compliance and regulatory procedures.)
